Acaia tailored our first-ever coffee grinder for single-dosing with automatic cleaning. These features aid in minimizing retention. The Orbit links with the Acaia Lunar for a seamless grind-by-weight experience. Built with Acaia’s proprietary technology, it provides advanced RPM control and energy efficiency. Acaia designed the Orbit in partnership with Weber Workshops. The successful EG-1 construction was a great inspiration for our grinder. We appreciate Weber’s guidance and advice during the development process. Acaia is solely responsible for the Orbit. Our team created the Orbit grinder technology. Acaia manages the manufacturing, selling, and after-sales product support.

Acaia Orbit is what happens when industrial performance gets the Acaia treatment, quiet design, tight tolerances, and a workflow that feels genuinely considered.

Now available in Space Gray, Beige White, and Black, Orbit keeps the silhouette clean and minimal, while adding a multi-purpose hopper that works for single dosing and adapts to larger batch hoppers when you need it. Inside, you get 64 mm flat steel burrs, stepless adjustment from espresso to filter, plus a single-dose focused setup with a knocking chute and automatic purge to keep retention low.

Orbit’s real advantage is how far you can push it without adding friction. The companion app lets you dial RPM from 600 to 1500, set three presets, customize button actions, and build profiles for grinding by weight or time. If you pair it with an Acaia Lunar scale, Orbit unlocks grind-by-weight, automated start stop, consistent dosing, no pre-weighing required.

Burr choice defines the personality. Mazzer 33M is the classic route, modern espresso, balanced filter, structure and sweetness. SSP Multi-Purpose leans into clarity and separation, high-definition filter brews and a more modern espresso style.

Hand-built, tested for burr alignment, and measured to micron-level tolerances, Orbit is built for people who care about repeatability, not just speed.
